Anna Silk was born in Fredericton as the child of Peter Silk, an academic as well as Ilkay Silk, an multi-talented actor, director, producer, educator, playwright and director of drama in St. Thomas University. Anna Silk was the daughter of a British father and an British-born Turkish Cypriot mother. As a child, she was featured in a variety of commercials. Anna relocated to Toronto in November 1999 in order to continue her acting career. Then, she settled to Los Angeles (California) over the next decade. Seth Cooperman, whom she met at a Los Angeles actors' workshop earlier in 2007, was her partner in 2009. Anna was converted to Judaism at the beginning of January 2011, and the couple renewed their vows at the Jewish wedding in Fredericton. Bo's love affair with Lauren who was played by Zoie Parker, was included in CNN's list of Favorite Television Couples of All Time and named as E!'s Top TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television.
