Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16 year old American who was born in Miami Florida. The mother of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former banking executive and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist, is Anya Taylor-Joy. Her father was an Argentine with Scottish and English ancestry. Her mother is Spanish and English origin. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's previous marriage. They resided in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, later moving to Victoria district of London. Taylor Joy admitted that the transition from Buenos Aires to Victoria was a struggle and she was not able to take the time to learn English and was hoping to go back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she needed to go to after she left Northlands. After that, she went to Queen's Gate School in London and took ballet classes as well as participated in plays. When she was 16 she dropped out of school in order to take on a full-time job in acting. At a very young age, Taylor-Joy had a dream to become an actress and her dreams came true when she was given a modeling job by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
